A world-renowned racing facility lies just north of Bowmanville hosting weekly events (Saturday night stock car racing) to annual weekend events consisting of major North American Championships. The Bowmanville Museum is a restored period home reflecting the lifestyle of a wealthy merchant family from the years 1901 to 1930. Tyrone Mill
In operation since 1846, this working, water powered mill houses a store where homemade jams, stone ground wheat flour, maple syrup, honey and cheese as well as lumber, lumber products and custom milling are available. During apple season in September until June, the mill also produces fresh apple cider and cider donuts. An antique woodworking shop is located on the second floor.


Pingle’s Farm Market
In season we grow bedding plants, pick your own strawberries, apples, fall raspberries and pumpkins. Our market features fresh produce, our own jams & preserves, crafts and gifts and our farm fresh bakery. The play area features a straw jump and farm animals. Harvest festival weekends in September and in October – Pingles Pumpkin Fun Weekend activities for the whole family including wagon rides and puppet theatre. In October we have a haunted hayride and boo barn. New for 2000, look for millennium mega maze in September.  Season May 1- Dec. 24
